Le Metier de Beaute VIP - April 2014

Le Metier de Beaute VIP is a prepaid beauty subscription box that was on sale last July.  This subscription isn't available for purchase at the moment, but I believe that it will be on sale again in the summer.

This subscription came down to $29/month, and for those month, subscribers received one item.

April 2014 Le Metier de Beaute

This month we received the Peau Vierge Anti-Aging Pressed Powder.  I was so excited to get this because I'm almost out of face powder!  I got it in Shade 2 which works out perfectly with my skin.  When I swatched it, it completely disappeared. Perfect!

Peau Vierge Anti-Aging Pressed Powder

The powder comes in three different shades and I got it in Shade 2.  When I swatched it, it completely disappeared. Perfect!  This product retails for $75, so I probably won't be purchasing this again.  Even though I don't wear makeup that often, I still go through powders pretty fast.

It's supposed to cover imperfections and improve the skin.  I read that applying the powder with sponge included creates more coverage than used with a brush.  I typically only like using brushes with loose powders anyway so I will be trying this out with the sponge.

Only 3 more months of this subscription left.  Makes me a little sad because I probably won't be signing up again.

Le Metier de Beaute VIP - March 2014

Le Metier de Beaute VIP is a prepaid beauty subscription box that was on sale last July.  This subscription isn't available for purchase at the moment, but I believe that it will be on sale again in the summer.

This subscription came down to $29/month.  For the month of March, we received two items.

March 2014 Le Metier de Beaute VIP

Ultra Hydration Eye Mask Duo

1.  Ultra Hydration Eye Mask Due ($18.75) - This product is for a one-time use only.  I will be saving this for a special occasion.  These are suppose to be used on the under-eye area and suppose to recover dehydrated cells and boost the skin's ability to retain moisture.  This product is perfect during these winter  months, but my under-eye area isn't dehydrated at the moment.

Peau Vierge Correcteur

2.  Peau Vierge Correcteur Concealer in Medium ($95) - This concealer has the anti-aging ingredient, retinol in it.  Normally I can't use much retinol without it irritating my skin, but since I don't wear makeup often, it works fine.  The only problem is that it's a bit too dark for my skin color, and I thought they weren't going to send out products that had to do with skin tones.  I was able to still use it by putting it under my eyes first and then layering a lighter concealer on top.  This worked perfectly and my under-eye skin looked much smoother than normal so this is definitely a product I will continue to use!

This month's box has a total of $113.75!! I'm always impressed with how much we get for what we paid for initially!

Le Metier de Beaute - December 2013

I love how Le Metier de Beaute's boxes are sent at the beginning of the month.  I like how they packaged this month's product...

So far, items have been in black boxes, but this month they came in a red box with silver packing material.  Very festive!

The December box had only one item: a Kaleidoscope Face Kit in Cheeky Chic.  This probably retails for $95 since other eyeshadow, lip, and face kits retail for the same.

This quad looks like it comes with two blushes, and a bronzer and highlighter for contouring.  There is also a mirror included. The taupe color is pretty light, so I think it will only look best as a bronzer for those with lighter skin tones.  It could be used as a blush also I'm sure or even an eyeshadow.

Swatches...

I'm so happy to have received a product like this this month because I have been looking out for new blushes etc.  This is also perfect for traveling.  I'm always looking for new items to bring with me on vacations since I typically go on about three a year (mostly to visit family in Georgia.) I didn't get the blush kit in the August box, I got a lip one.  Now, I'm hoping to get a eyeshadow Kaleidoscope soon!

I'm very pleased with what I received this month, and looking forward to January.

Le Metier de Beaute is not open to new subscribers.  There was only a certain time people could sign up and we had to pay for the whole year in advance.

Le Metier de Beaute - November 2013

Before I get started, I would like to say that I'm way behind on blog posts, but I'm trying to catch up.

This month's box was another fantastic one, in my opinion.  I have loved everything I received so far and the value has well exceeded the subscription price overall so far.

First off, I would like to say, that I love the handwritten notes they add to each box every month.

Now to November's box...

November 2013 Le Metier de Beaute

This month I received:

Eye Lash Curler - $18

I already have about four eye lash curlers at the moment, but it doesn't hurt to have another one.  Right now, I use one that I bought from the drugstore, but I think this will quickly replace it.

Dualistic Eye Pencil in Tamarack - $36

I have several eye liners already, but I don't mind getting another one as long as it's not black! This shade is a dark brown color and it's great to use for more natural day looks.

'Peau Vierge' Lash Growth Serum - $95

I already have naturally really long lashes, but I'm still going to try this out to see if it works.

Total - $149!!

All these products are things that I will use and I'm very pleased with that.  I can't wait for December's box, and I'm hoping it will be extra special because of the holiday season!

Le Metier de Beaute - October 2013

Le Metier de Beaute is a subscription box where you had to pay for the entire year up front (which comes out to $29/month.)  Subscriptions are closed and won't open up again until next July, I presume.

October 2013 Le Metier De Beaute

This month's Le Metier de Beaute box contained only one product, the Peau Vierge Complexion Serum & Dark Spot Corrector, but that's because the value of this is $125!  This came at the perfect time because I have been looking for a product like this.

This is a 4 in 1 complexion serum that's suppose to help minimize acne and T-Zone pores, smooth fine lines and wrinkles, rebuild skins appearance, and correct dark spots, uneven skin tones, and scarring.

I have just started using this every other night like suggested.  I'm very happy to be trying out this product, and I hope I see some results soon.
