Winter 2015 Rachel Zoe Box of Style

I love getting this box in the mail every quarter.  I feel like I'm opening a gift each time; every item is wrapped individually.  This is the 3rd Box of Style.  I've received them all, and I can say with all honesty that it's my absolute favorite subscription.  The box is $100/quarter, but the value vastly outweighs the cost and so worth it!

So pretty!

Alexis Bittar Cocktail Ring

This is the Hero item of the box.  I love this ring and perfect to wear on a night out!  It's Gold Tone Swarovski Crystal and adjustable.  It retails for $198 and exclusive for this box.

Our Heiday Stationary Notecard Set

This notecard set is rather cute.  I don't tend to send notes in the mail, but I will keep these for whenever I need to send out a thank-you!  Retails for $20.

Honest Beauty Makeup Remover Wipes and Lip Crayon

I can always use Makeup Remover Wipes and in fact, I was almost out of my current ones.  Perfect timing!  The Truly Kissable Lip Crayon in Mulberry Kiss, is perfect for day and night!  It's very smooth and creates kind of a lip stain affect.  The wipes retail for $10, and the lip crayon, $18.

Here is a swatch of the lip crayon:

LELET NY Swarovski Crystal Hair Pin

This is so pretty.  I'm not someone who typically spends a lot of time on my hair.  I tend to just curl and go whenever I go out, but now I'm going to have to style my hair so I can use the LELET NY Swarovski Crystal Hair Pin.  Too bad I'm not going to any fancy New Years parties.  This would have been perfect!  Retails for $98.

MarulaOil Rare Oil Intensive Masque & complementary Rare Oil Treatment

Another thing I needed, the MarulaOil Rare Oil Intensive Masque.  I haven't tried this brand before, but what I love about this one is that you can leave this one on for a shorter amount of time.  I hope this works well on color-treated hair!  Retail value is $45.

Ciate London Nail Polish in Strictly Legal

Each subscriber will receive one of three Ciate London Nail Polishes.  I've seen the other two and I'm glad this is the one I got in my box.  I don't own any polishes in this brand, which is surprising considering I have a lot of nail polish.  I love this color and it's perfect to wear this time of year!  This retails for $15.

Foot Petals Custom Tip Toes

All I can say is that these Foot Petals are perfect for those pair of shoes that are bit uncomfortable to stand/dance/walk in.  Retail Value is $8.

This Boulevard Leather Goods bag was an extra for inaugural Box of Style members!  It's adorable and a nice surprise!  I'm definitely putting this little bag in my purse.

I absolutely loved this box and has a value of $412!  Subscribe here!!!  I highly recommend this!

Thursday Thoughts

I'm linking up with Jen over at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for Thursday Thoughts.  It's been awhile since I've done one of these, so it's about time.

-  I was looking through my DVR schedule and noticed that Season 3 of "Gypsy Sisters" on TLC, starts tonight!  It's so trashy, yet so entertaining.  What a pleasant surprise!

-  So, my Birthday is coming up (September 1, which is Labor Day) and I'm so excited that I'm able to go out!  We are going to a White Party on August 31st.  I ordered an outfit from Missguided, but I'm afraid it won't get here in time.  I should of paid for Express shipping.  If I don't get it by the Saturday before I need it, I will have to scramble around to find something else.  Plus, I will have to return it and I hate returning things.

-  I signed up to participate in Bout of Books this week, but I've barely read anything at all.  And I thought I could read 3 books...yeah right.  This kind of thing is more suitable for people who have nothing to do or toddlers who let them read!

-  I'm waiting for a couple of subscription boxes to come:  Petit Vour and Bluum.  I still have to post about this month's Ipsy too.  Hopefully, I can get that done today.

FabFitFun VIP - Summer Edition 2014

This is my third FabFitFun box and my least favorite.  Although I got plenty of items that are useful, it just wasn't as exciting as the previous two I received.  I've also noticed that Giuliana Rancic is nowhere to be found on the website.  What happened to her?

FabFitFun is a quarterly box that costs $49.99.  This months box had a value of $225+ and includes items in fashion, fitness, beauty, and wellness.

I have an exclusive coupon code, if you sign up to get the summer box, you get $15 off!  Just use code 5679247 when you sign up!  Hurry before they run out!!

Summer 2014 Edition

1.  Sonya Dakar Flash Facial ($95) - This is a supposed "miracleworker" that in just 60 seconds, you will have softer, plumper, and younger - looking skin.  I plan on trying this tonight to see how it goes.

2. pur~lisse pur~protect SPF 90 ($55) - Although I do like this moisturizer, I'm so sick of seeing this in every subscription box.  It was recently featured in Vogue as the Editor's Favorite Summer Product.  I already have a couple of full-sizes and deluxe sample sizes, plus many other face moisturizers.  I'm pretty much set for a long time.  Please no more pur~lisse!

3.  Thursday Friday Away Mini Clutch/Makeup Bag ($35) - I do like this, but I highly doubt I will use it as a makeup bag.  I can just see myself getting makeup on it like I do on any other case put my makeup in because it's canvas.   I will most likely use this to organize other items to keep in my purse.  Patterns varied.

4.  Balanced Guru No Frizz Oil ($25) - This is very helpful when it comes to frizz.  I don't have a whole lot, only a little bit in summer.   This supposedly doesn't weigh down your hair, but that seems to be somewhat of a problem with me with hair oils.  Hopefully, it works well for my hair.

5.  Zoya Nail Polish ($9) - I haven't even heard much about Zoya until I started subscribing to beauty boxes a year ago.  I do like nail polish a lot, but I'm just not that excited about this color.  The color is called "Maya" and is a bit more coral-looking in real life.  It is wearable for any occasion, but I prefer something more "fun."  Like neon.

6.  KISSTIXX Lip Balm ($5.99) - I got two lip balms in "compatible" scents: Strawberry and Chocolate.  Those are definitely compatible, and it makes me want a chocolate covered strawberry right now.  They both smell really good and very moisturizing.  I can never have too many lip balms! Scents varied.

7.  FabFitFun Water Infuser BPA-free Water Bottle ($15) - I guess this is considered to be the "fitness" portion of the box.  Of course water infusers are great, but I really didn't need another one.  I already received one in my Popsugar box not that long, but I already ordered one from Blogilates (which is awesome and highly recommend purchasing one) previous to that.  I suppose I could always use another one if my other two are dirty.

8.  POPchips ($1.29) - I love getting food in boxes especially when it tastes good is semi-healthy.

These are all sponsored items:  Skintimate Shave Gel (good size for traveling), Always Xtra Protection Long Daily Liners, and a Slimfast Have Your Cake...Meal Bar (another food item, yay!)

Overall, I do have gripes about this box, but still have use for everything.  What I don't use, I will gift.  I'm looking forward to the Fall box!  I'm pretty much over Summer so anything Fall sounds great to me!

Thursday Thoughts

I'm linking up with Jen over at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for Thursday Thoughts.

-  I have quite a few posts I have to blog about including: Popsugar, Ipsy, and Bonjour Jolie.  Hopefully I can get some of that done today.

- I'm sort of looking forward to Easter on Sunday.  Of course we are all going to church and then hopefully to lunch afterwards, but since all Christians have Easter this Sunday, it may be a bit hard.  A lot of times the Orthodox Easter is on a different day.  I'm excited to give my daughter her Easter basket and I get to wear my new dress I just bought from Nordstrom.  Either these Blogilates workouts are really working or clothing sizes are getting bigger because I ended up buying a size 2.  Usually, I wear a 4, and the 4 looked huge.

-  Speaking of Blogilates, I signed up for the new Blogilates Social Network (beta.)  I'm still trying to figure it out, but my username is anni82, if you want to add me as a friend.  I'm not quite sure how everything works, but I will figure that out later when I have more time.

-  I have to dye eggs today.  My husband says that those who are Macedonian Orthodox, dye eggs on the Thursday before Easter.  We bring them to church with and exchange them with other people.  I was trying to look up a neat way to dye them, but I haven't found anything that I like that doesn't take too much time to do.

My Modcloth Stylish Surprise

I got my Modcloth Stylish Surprise yesterday, plus another item I just had to purchase.

I love this dress.  I don't know when I will wear it, but hopefully in the future it will get some use.  I may only wear this in the fall/winter time if I wear it with a sweater.  Otherwise, this seems more appropriate for spring/summer.

I love the buttons on the back, and how it opens up in the lower back area.  I couldn't find this on their site, but at least I know it's more than what I paid for it!

While debating on if I should pay for a mystery item, I ended up seeing this cardigan that I just had to have...

I love the ruffles on this cardigan, and this will look so nice with a long tunic top, leggings, and boots.  This is the Sesame Chic Cardigan and it's $59.99.

Wantable Intimates - October 2013

I'm really liking this new sub from Wantable.  This their second month, and I have liked everything I've gotten in these boxes so far.  I love how this box has a combination of everyday basics and necessities.  The box is $36/month, you can cancel any time, and you can easily skip a month.

I actually received this box at the end of September, but haven't been able to post about it until now.  I like getting a subscription box near the beginning of a month!

October 2013 Wantable Intimates

So this month I received...

1.  Sock It to Me Greek Flower Socks - These are a pair of knee high socks.  They are very comfy and thick, so perfect for fall.  I just love getting new socks.

Retail - $12

2.  Coobie Cami in Seafoam - This cami is such a pretty color and I like how it has removable padding. It is one size fits all, but it fits perfectly.  The material is very stretchy and the straps are adjustable, so I can see how it could fit many sizes.

Retail - $24

3.  Fleur't Bralet in White/Nude - This is the perfect item to wear under clothing while lounging around at home.

Retail - $34

4.  Coobie Hipster in Black -  This brand is actually called Undie Couture by Lauren Copeland, but they must make underwear for Coobie.  Anyway, this pair is all black lace.  I think it's hard to tell from the picture.

Retail - $14

The value of my box came to $84!!  Not bad at all =)

I'm looking forward to November's box!  I hope to get more socks from Sock It to Me.  They have some really fun ones on their site.

Wantable Intimates Box - September 2013

Wantable Intimates Box

This is the first Intimates box from Wantable.  I have not tried their makeup or accessory boxes yet, but I have heard good things about those so I decided to try this new one.  Overall, I am pleased with what I received.  I love how this is personalized for you, and when you sign up, you take a quiz selecting which items you love, like, or dislike.  You will never get items you dislike and more likely to receive items you love.  Items that you may get include: socks, camis, tanks, underwear, bras, leggings, tights, accessories, etc.  The box is the same price as the other subscriptions, $36/month.

September 2013 Wantable Intimates Box

I received...

1.  Muk Luk Sabrina Tights - These are gray and I know it's a little hard to tell in the picture.  I love the color and how thick they are.  They are nice and casual, perfect for fall.

Value: $21

2.  Izabella Rib Tight in Plum - Another pair of tights.  I do like this purple color, but I don't have as much use for purple tights.  I'm hoping to find something I can wear with these.

Value: $19

3.  Sock It To Me Cherry Socks - I love fun socks and can never have enough of those.

Value: $11

4.  Mallory Thong in White - This is a pretty thong, and again, can never have too many pairs of underwear.

Value: $9

5.  Coobie Essential Thin Strap Cami in Heavenly Pink - This is a one-size fits all cami, but I wish it actually came in different sizes.  Although, it does fit pretty well, which is great.

Value: $20

This box has a value of $80!!!The only thing that I wish they would change is on the quiz they have tights and leggings listed together as one thing.  I labeled that I "Loved" tights/leggings (hence why I got two pairs of tights) because I love leggings.  I wear those all the time.  I just like tights, and I don't wear them often.  It would be nice if they could make tights and leggings separate.

I will definitely use most of these items, and will try to find a reason to wear those purple tights.  I'm hoping the October box will be better.  I would some loungewear because I'm home quite a bit.

Popsugar Must Have Box - August 2013

This month's Popsugar Must Have Box definitely has back-to-school vibe.  I know I'm a little late on posting about this, but I wanted to anyway.  Also, I guess this box can be considered an anniversary box as well because a special anniversary gift is included.

Popsugar is a monthly subscription box service for only $35/month.  All boxes include at least $100 worth of products.

August 2013 Popsugar Must Have
This month we have Must Have Anniversary Gift, Must Have Home, Must Have Beauty, and a Special Extra.

Must Have Anniversary Gift
The Must Have Anniversary Gift is the Gorjana Open Circle Necklace.  I remember seeing this necklace on Gorjana & Griffin's website a while, and wanting to buy it.  It would of been nice to get a silver piece of jewelry for once, but I still don't mind the gold because I have been loving it these days.  I've been shopping from Gorjana & Griffin for quite a while, even when it was just Gorjana and Griffin didn't even exist yet.

Value - $65

Must Have Home
For Must Have Home we have:

1. Bentgo All-in-one Stackable Bento Lunch Box - I got the lunch box in blue, and even though I don't exactly have a use for it, I will find one because it is so cute!  I love that these containers are microwave-, dishwasher-, and freezer-safe!  They also come in green, grey, and purple.  Right now they are on sale for $14.99.

Value - $19.99 (Original price)

2.  Lunares Apple Bowl - This bowl is so versatile.  You can use it for so many things, including hot and cold foods.  I will probably use this as a place to put my rings and other small jewelry items in since I have been looking for something for just that purpose. So perfect!  I've only found this bowl in a 7-piece set.

Value - $21.29 (Estimated)

3.  May Designs Weekly Agenda Notebook - I already have a similar notebook like this, but once I'm done with it, I will definitely be using this.  The weeks can be hand-written in so it can be used anytime.  I like it's simplicity, and it will fit easily inside my purse.  I also love how you can customize your own books, and other items, on their website.

Value - $20

Must Have Beauty
For Must Have Beauty we have:

1.  Lulah Body Wash - Body wash always comes in handy, then I don't have to worry about buying anymore after I run out of what I'm currently using.  I got the scent Vanilla Orchid.  I can't pick up on the Vanilla scent, but that's okay because there are so many vanilla-scented beauty items out there.  I actually really love this smell and glad that it's more flowery.  The body wash comes in other scents: Citron, Magnolia Fig, Peony, and Tamarind Ginger.

Value - $11.25

2.  Dermalogica Precleanse and Special Cleansing Gel - Dermalogica is one of those brands that I have heard, wanted to try, but never have. Now I can!  These are good travel sizes.

Precleanse Value - $9.50

Special Cleansing Gel Value - $10

Special Extra
This is the only thing I wasn't that happy about, the Naturebox Granny Smith Apples.  I do like apples, but I don't love them, and I thought these weren't going to be as chewy as they are.  Dried fruit isn't really my thing, but it's just an extra, so not a big deal.  Naturebox has their own subscription for $19.95/month, though I don't subscribe to it.

This my third Popsugar Must Have Box, and I love what I got this month!  This month, I got about $157 worth of products!!!

July 2013 Popsugar Must Have Box

June 2013 Popsugar Must Have Box

Popsugar Must Have box - July 2013

I absolutely love Popsugar! This is my second box and probably my favorite subscription box service! Popsugar is a monthly lifestyle box and only costs $35/month.

Here is July's box!

Even though June's box is my favorite so far, I still love the contents of this one! This month we have: Must Have Fashion, two Must Have Beauty's, two Must Have Food's, and Must Have Home.

Must Have Food:  Hannahmax Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chip All Natural Crunchy Cookie Chips
The name of this food item does seem redundant, but it is so delicious!  I had to hurry up and take a picture so I could eat these.  They are so, so good.  I'm not a real big fan of dark chocolate, but it doesn't even taste much like dark chocolate at all.  I will have to see what stores carry this so I can buy some more!

Retail Value: $5.99

Must Have Fashion: Baublebar Rose Double Curb Chain
I love this necklace!  I don't know why some people were complaining about it, but then again, some people will just gripe about anything.  If you don't like what you get, cancel your subscription!

Anyway, I was actually looking for something similar to this and now I don't have too.  This necklace would look nice with a simple black dress or to dress up a plain white t-shirt and jeans.

This did come with a 20% off coupon code, but I'm not sure if I will use it.  Now, if it was $20 off, I definitely would!

Retail Value: $28

Must Have Beauty:  NCLA As If! Polish and Supergoop! SPF 30 Anti-aging City Sunscreen Serum
The name of this nail polish obviously reminds me of the movie Clueless.  I do really like the color, it is a nice pale-looking purple.  I just looked at their website and they have lots of pretty colors that I would like to try! I need to get some nail polish swatch sticks so I can swatch polish colors in the future.

Retail Value: $16

This Supergoop! is obviously full-size.  And though I have never heard of the brand, until recently, I'm really interested to try it out.  I have been looking for SPF for my face and now I have it!  The fact that it is anti-aging, helps too.  Even though I am 30 years old and look about 20 (Thanks to great genes!), I still like to help slow down the aging process.

Retail Value: $42

Must Have Food: Mighty Leaf Iced Tea and Must Have Home: Tovolo King Cube Ice Tray
I just love tea! Especially iced tea.  Since my family is from Georgia, I grew up drinking a lot of it.  I'm so happy to get the Ginger Peach flavor because peach is my absolute favorite fruit, especially Georgia peaches!  So good.  According to their website, it is a best-selling flavor.

Retail Value: $6.25

I would never think to buy an ice cube tray, but I'm glad I have it.  I can't wait to make some tea with huge ice cubes.  There are other colors available of this tray including: Lime, Pink, Fuchsia, Stratus Blue, Royal Purple, and Orange Peel.

Retail Value: $8.95

I really liked this box.  The total value is $107.19, and I only paid $35 + tax for this!  The August box is sold out, but you can still sign up for September's box.  Sign up here!!

August 2013 Sneak Peek
I received this in my email not too long ago.  I hope this means this is an extra item.  I love Gorjana & Griffin and this necklace.  Very much looking forward to the August box!

June 2013 Popsugar Must Have box

Tuesday, June 18, 2013

Popsugar Must Have Box - June 2013

This is my first Popsugar Must Have Box, and I can already say that I'm sure this will be my favorite subscription box service that I will be getting!  It's more of a lifestyle box that comes with a different type of product in 6 different categories:  Must Have Fashion, Must Have Beauty, Must Have Fitness, Must Have Entertainment, Must Have Food, and a Special Extra.  It's only $35 a month.

Must Have Fashion: Gorjana & Griffin Zuma Scarf, and a $25 off coupon to http://www.gorjana-griffin.com/
Retail: $62

I love Gorjana & Griffin already.  I have made several purchases from them for myself and others, many times.  I was actually looking into getting one of the scarves on their website before getting this in my box, so this was a nice surprise!  I love the navy and white stripes and that pop of neon!

Retail: $65 (moisturizer), $7.80 (CC creams)

I have never tried Juice Beauty and am looking forward to trying out these products.  There are two different shades in the CC Creams:  Natural Glow and Warm Glow.  Hope they work for my skin!

Retail: $19.99

Apparently this DVD includes Madonna's go-to workout routines.  Since she is in such good shape, I'm sure this will be a great workout.  I'm really into fitness and working out now, so I can't wait to try this!  If I like it, I may just have to purchase the other 3 DVD's in the series!

Must Have Entertainment:  Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns By Lauren Weisberger
Retail: $25.99

This is the sequel to The Devil Wears Prada, which I haven't read, but I've seen the movie.  So far, I haven't heard such great reviews about this book, but I will read it anyway to see for myself.  I'm not that picky as some are when it comes to writing, I just like to be entertained.  First, I will have to read The Devil Wears Prada before I begin reading this.

Retail: $1.79

Project 7 is a great company because they give back to several charities when their products are purchased.  One tray (12 tubes) of these mints provides a person in need with water for a year.  These are very handy to keep in your purse when you're on-the-go.

Retail: $5.33

This popcorn tastes pretty good for being healthy.  It has only 37 calories per cup, so you don't have to feel guilty for eating the whole bag in one sitting!

Total Retail Value: With the $25 off coupon, over $200!!!  It's nice to get over $200 worth of products for only $35/month.  Sign up here!!!  If you use the PROMO code REFER5, you get $5 off your first box!!

Overall, I'm very impressed with this subscription box service and I absolutely love everything in it, especially the scarf!  I can't wait for July's box!!
