Winter 2015 Rachel Zoe Box of Style

I love getting this box in the mail every quarter.  I feel like I'm opening a gift each time; every item is wrapped individually.  This is the 3rd Box of Style.  I've received them all, and I can say with all honesty that it's my absolute favorite subscription.  The box is $100/quarter, but the value vastly outweighs the cost and so worth it!

So pretty!

Alexis Bittar Cocktail Ring

This is the Hero item of the box.  I love this ring and perfect to wear on a night out!  It's Gold Tone Swarovski Crystal and adjustable.  It retails for $198 and exclusive for this box.

Our Heiday Stationary Notecard Set

This notecard set is rather cute.  I don't tend to send notes in the mail, but I will keep these for whenever I need to send out a thank-you!  Retails for $20.

Honest Beauty Makeup Remover Wipes and Lip Crayon

I can always use Makeup Remover Wipes and in fact, I was almost out of my current ones.  Perfect timing!  The Truly Kissable Lip Crayon in Mulberry Kiss, is perfect for day and night!  It's very smooth and creates kind of a lip stain affect.  The wipes retail for $10, and the lip crayon, $18.

Here is a swatch of the lip crayon:

LELET NY Swarovski Crystal Hair Pin

This is so pretty.  I'm not someone who typically spends a lot of time on my hair.  I tend to just curl and go whenever I go out, but now I'm going to have to style my hair so I can use the LELET NY Swarovski Crystal Hair Pin.  Too bad I'm not going to any fancy New Years parties.  This would have been perfect!  Retails for $98.

MarulaOil Rare Oil Intensive Masque & complementary Rare Oil Treatment

Another thing I needed, the MarulaOil Rare Oil Intensive Masque.  I haven't tried this brand before, but what I love about this one is that you can leave this one on for a shorter amount of time.  I hope this works well on color-treated hair!  Retail value is $45.

Ciate London Nail Polish in Strictly Legal

Each subscriber will receive one of three Ciate London Nail Polishes.  I've seen the other two and I'm glad this is the one I got in my box.  I don't own any polishes in this brand, which is surprising considering I have a lot of nail polish.  I love this color and it's perfect to wear this time of year!  This retails for $15.

Foot Petals Custom Tip Toes

All I can say is that these Foot Petals are perfect for those pair of shoes that are bit uncomfortable to stand/dance/walk in.  Retail Value is $8.

This Boulevard Leather Goods bag was an extra for inaugural Box of Style members!  It's adorable and a nice surprise!  I'm definitely putting this little bag in my purse.

I absolutely loved this box and has a value of $412!  Subscribe here!!!  I highly recommend this!

October 2014 - Ipsy Glam Bag

This month's theme is "Beauty Candy."  I love the bag this month and  I also love most of what I got in it!   Ipsy is a beauty subscription service that only costs $10/month.  It's worth it, you always get more than what you pay for!

Here is what I got this month...

Figs & Rouge Hand Cream - I got this in the scent "Mango Mandarin" and I don't really like it.  The cream itself is nice and very moisturizing, but I'm not a fan of the smell.  I wish I got it in "Rose Berry" because I love rose scented products.

Skyn Iceland Mini Glacial Cleansing Cloths - I love cleansing wipes, especially travel sizes! They're one of my favorite things to get in subscriptions because it's something I can always use.  These will be perfect to take when I go out of town for Thanksgiving.

ECRU New York Acacia Protein BB Cream Beauty Balm for Hair - This is my favorite item this month!  I have never tried BB cream for hair before, but this makes my hair so soft and smooth.

Starlooks Lip Gloss - My least favorite item this month.  Lip Gloss is something I can do without.  This one is kind of sticky and that's why I don't typically use them in the first place.  I may use this over lipstick, but with matte lips being in style right now, I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Jessie's Girl Mineralized Baked Shadow Powder  - I got this in the shade "Ocean Breeze."  This to me, is the least usable color scent out.  I suppose I could try a blue smokey eye with this one.

Overall, I'm still happy with my bag this month because of the wipes and BB Cream.  Plus, I love the bag!  I can't wait to see the sneak peeks for November!  Sign up here for only $10/month!

August 2014 - Ipsy Glam Bag

Ipsy is a beauty subscription service that sends 4 - 5 deluxe/full-size products each month.  It only costs $10/month and the products come in a cute bag!

This month's Ipsy theme is "Beauty Schooled."

This month isn't one of my favorites, but I was excited for one particular item.  Here is what I got...

Urban Decay Perversion Mascara - You could probably guess that this is what I was excited to get.  I've been wanting to try out this new mascara and now I can!  I still have yet to use it, but I will soon.

Lord & Berry Silk Kajal Kohl Eye Pencil - I do have a ton of eye pencils already, but this is a perfect travel size.  It really does go on like silk.  Some eye pencils are hard and don't glide on well, but this is not the case for this one.

Coastal Scents Forever Blush Sample Duo - I'm not into these shades that much, but it's still perfect for traveling.

Dr. Brandt Pores No More Pore Refiner - I don't necessarily need a product like this right now, but it will still be useful in the future.  Plus, I always love receiving Dr Brandt items.

Absolute Lip Balm - I got the lip balm in "Green Apple," though it really doesn't smell like apples to me.  It does have a familiar scent, but I can't quite put my finger on it.  On the plus side, I do love lip balms and this one is very moisturizing.

Overall, this wasn't my favorite Ipsy bag, but I still received items that I can use and got something that I really wanted, so this is a win to me!  Don't forget to sign up!

August 2014 Ipsy Glam Bag Sneak Peeks and Reveal!

Ipsy is a subscription service where subscribers receive 4 - 5 deluxe/full-size beauty items each month.  It's only $10/month and all items come in a cute bag!

Sneak Peek #1

Subscribers will either get a deluxe sample of Perversion Mascara by Urban Decay or an Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil.

Sneak Peek #2

It doesn't how many products pictured here that subscribers will get.  I'm assuming it's possible to get several of these.  I found out what I'm getting in my Glam Room already and it shows I will be getting 3 of these products.  I will explain about that below.

The products pictured here are:  Dr. Brandt Pores No More Pore Refiner, Lord & Berry Silk Kajal Kohl Eye Pencil, Coastal Scents Shadow Palette Sample, Manna Kadar Cosmetics Sheer Glo, J. Cat Beauty Flying Solo Eye Shadow, and Coastal Scents Forever Blush Sample Duo.

Sneak Peek #3

Each subscriber will get one of these lip balms:  Jersey Shore Sun Mongongo Lip Conditioner, Bee All Natural Organic Grapefruit Lip Balm, and Absolute Lip Balm.

When I signed on to the Ipsy website, a window popped up asking if I wanted to see my Glam Room early.  In order for me to do that I had to post on Facebook that I was excited about my August bag and subscribe to some YouTube channels ( I can always delete that later and probably will.)  By doing that, my glam room appeared...

Also, you can see what the bag looks like...a pencil case.  It makes sense because the theme is "Beauty Schooled."  Like I mentioned before, my room is showing I'm getting 3 products from Sneak Peek #2.  I hope this is correct because I would love to get this bag!  I was hoping to be able to try the new mascara.

And here are all the rest of the items...

I probably won't post the rest of the sneak peeks since we know all the rest of the items.  Sign up for Ipsy right here!  It's only $10/month.

July 2014 Ipsy Reveal!

Ipsy glam rooms are up!  Here's what I will be getting this month...

July 2014 Glam Room

I'm happy with 4/5 items.  I have no use for the tanning oil this summer.  I could of used this 4 days ago when I was at Lake Oconee in Georgia.  So, I will just have to save this for next years possible beach trip.

Ipsy is only $10/month.  Sign up here!

May 2014 Ipsy Glam Bag Sneak Peeks!

Again, I forgot about Ipsy sneak peeks!  I've had my mind on so many other things.  I'm already excited about this first one!

Sneak Peek #1

Let your beauty bloom with one of these soft, fresh shades to cheer up your spring style.

The brand is clearly Pacifica, but I couldn't find these on their website.  I'm assuming that these are eyeshadows.  I would love to get the one to the left, but would be happy with the other as well.

I would also love if this month's bag had a floral print.

UPDATE: MAY 3RD

Sneak Peek #2

Time to head outdoors and enjoy beauty al fresco. Don't forget to put one of these pretty picks in your picnic basket to stay safe in the sun

Every subscriber would be getting one of these sunscreens, either Hang Ten Classic Body SPF 50 or Jersey Shore Sans Tan Anti-aging Sunscreen.  I'm not that excited about getting a sunscreen, but it is useful.

The only products I hope not to get, is the perfume sample (have enough of those) or the Boo Boo Cover-up ( I really have no use for that.)

Hopefully I don't end up with the curl cream since my hair is super straight.

I would love to get the spray, night cream or scrub.  The only item I have no use for, is the eyelash curler.  I have three already.

Sneak Peek #6

The anticipation is killing us. We can't wait for you to check out our Fresh Picks for May and show us your spring style.

Here is the bag!  I really like the print.  I was hoping for floral, but this is great too.  Much better than lasts month's bag and I love that the material looks to be canvas.

Le Metier de Beaute VIP - April 2014

Le Metier de Beaute VIP is a prepaid beauty subscription box that was on sale last July.  This subscription isn't available for purchase at the moment, but I believe that it will be on sale again in the summer.

This subscription came down to $29/month, and for those month, subscribers received one item.

April 2014 Le Metier de Beaute

This month we received the Peau Vierge Anti-Aging Pressed Powder.  I was so excited to get this because I'm almost out of face powder!  I got it in Shade 2 which works out perfectly with my skin.  When I swatched it, it completely disappeared. Perfect!

Peau Vierge Anti-Aging Pressed Powder

The powder comes in three different shades and I got it in Shade 2.  When I swatched it, it completely disappeared. Perfect!  This product retails for $75, so I probably won't be purchasing this again.  Even though I don't wear makeup that often, I still go through powders pretty fast.

It's supposed to cover imperfections and improve the skin.  I read that applying the powder with sponge included creates more coverage than used with a brush.  I typically only like using brushes with loose powders anyway so I will be trying this out with the sponge.

Only 3 more months of this subscription left.  Makes me a little sad because I probably won't be signing up again.

Sneak Peek #1

Bring out the velvet ropes and bust out your makeup melody for this awesome rock star product in your Glam Bag this month!

This looks like an Urban Decay 24/7 Velvet Glide-On Eye Pencil in a new color called Black Velvet. It will probably in a deluxe-size sample, and hopefully each subscriber will be getting one.  Perfect for traveling!

Life is a stage and your lips are at the center. Let one of these fabulous lip products take the lead!

This next sneak peek shows that everyone will get one of these lip products in their bags.  There are two different shades of Cailyn Cosmetics Tinted Lip Balm, Starlooks Longwear Lip Pencil, and Mary Kay at Play Jelly Lip Gloss.
