- My Boxycharm and Ipsy subscriptions have shipped!  I'm really liking what I will be getting in my Ipsy bag this month.  I can't wait to see the other items in my Boxycharm.  There is a post on the sneak peeks here.

- It's snowing outside and I'm not ready for this.  I was planning on doing some grocery shopping today, but now I don't want to leave the house.

- I wish I had plans for this weekend, but I don't.  Hopefully I can get some reading done.  I have about 100 books in my TBR pile to get through, and yet I still want to buy more! LOL, I have a problem.

This is the shortest, most boring "Thursday Thoughts" post I've ever done, LOL.  There isn't much going on at the moment...

Thursday Thoughts

-  I've contemplated quite a while on trying the Raw till 4 diet.  It's not so much a diet, but more of a lifestyle change.  You eat raw food until 4 pm, mostly fruit, and then have a cooked vegan meal at night.  I haven't been following it completely, but I do notice I have a lot more energy and just feel healthier in general.  I haven't given up meat totally, but I've definitely cut down.  I actually felt sick from eating ground beef the other night.  This kind of proves just how bad meat is for you, high in cholesterol and high in fat.

-  I've been obsessed with buying books and reading lately, that I decided to add Book Reviews to this blog, occasionally.  I'm in by no means a good writer, but I still made an attempt.  You can read it here if you like.  Most reviews will probably be on Young Adult books.  There are so many good ones out there; why didn't they have books like this when I was a teenager? LOL.  Or maybe I didn't notice because I wasn't into reading outside of school-assigned books!

-  Speaking of books, I ordered The Sleeper and the Spindle from Book depository.  I couldn't seem to get it from anywhere other than a UK site and they have free shipping worldwide.  It's such a pretty book and should be getting it soon.

-  We have a Christening to go to on Sunday.  I bought a cheap dress from Modcloth, the "Giving Legend Dress."  I figured it would look cute with a black card, tights, and heels.  At the moment, it's now 30% off!

-  I'm beyond excited for the Winter Fortune Cookie Soap Box.  The theme is "Old Fashioned Family Christmas" and it's based off of the movie Christmas Vacation, which is my favorite Christmas movie of all time.  I think it's pretty nostalgic for a lot of people.  My box is scheduled to be delivered Saturday, and I will probably post about it as soon as I get it!  The collection launches November 21.  I believe you can still sign up for the Winter Box here!

Thursday Thoughts

I'm linking up with Jen over at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for Thursday Thoughts.  It's been awhile since I've done one of these, so it's about time.

-  I was looking through my DVR schedule and noticed that Season 3 of "Gypsy Sisters" on TLC, starts tonight!  It's so trashy, yet so entertaining.  What a pleasant surprise!

-  So, my Birthday is coming up (September 1, which is Labor Day) and I'm so excited that I'm able to go out!  We are going to a White Party on August 31st.  I ordered an outfit from Missguided, but I'm afraid it won't get here in time.  I should of paid for Express shipping.  If I don't get it by the Saturday before I need it, I will have to scramble around to find something else.  Plus, I will have to return it and I hate returning things.

-  I signed up to participate in Bout of Books this week, but I've barely read anything at all.  And I thought I could read 3 books...yeah right.  This kind of thing is more suitable for people who have nothing to do or toddlers who let them read!

-  I'm waiting for a couple of subscription boxes to come:  Petit Vour and Bluum.  I still have to post about this month's Ipsy too.  Hopefully, I can get that done today.

-  I have quite a few posts I have to blog about including: Popsugar, Ipsy, and Bonjour Jolie.  Hopefully I can get some of that done today.

- I'm sort of looking forward to Easter on Sunday.  Of course we are all going to church and then hopefully to lunch afterwards, but since all Christians have Easter this Sunday, it may be a bit hard.  A lot of times the Orthodox Easter is on a different day.  I'm excited to give my daughter her Easter basket and I get to wear my new dress I just bought from Nordstrom.  Either these Blogilates workouts are really working or clothing sizes are getting bigger because I ended up buying a size 2.  Usually, I wear a 4, and the 4 looked huge.

-  Speaking of Blogilates, I signed up for the new Blogilates Social Network (beta.)  I'm still trying to figure it out, but my username is anni82, if you want to add me as a friend.  I'm not quite sure how everything works, but I will figure that out later when I have more time.

-  I have to dye eggs today.  My husband says that those who are Macedonian Orthodox, dye eggs on the Thursday before Easter.  We bring them to church with and exchange them with other people.  I was trying to look up a neat way to dye them, but I haven't found anything that I like that doesn't take too much time to do.

-  I should be getting my April Le Metier de Beaute box today!  I already know what's in it and excited to try it out.

- I signed up for Her Fashion Box at the end of February and the March boxes still haven't shipped yet.  I'm so glad I cancelled before being charged for April.  I wasn't about to pay for the April box when the March one wasn't even on it's way yet.  I don't understand what the issue is with this company, but they need to get their shit together.  On their Facebook page, they mentioned subscribers should receive their March boxes mid-late April.  Unbelievable.  I don't recommend signing up for this box.  All I have to say is that the March box better be amazing.

-  My sister and her boyfriend were here last weekend.  It was a pretty quick trip, but we had lots of fun.  Saturday night we were able to get a babysitter so we went out to dinner at Iridescence, which is located at Motor City Casino, and then we went on to MGM.  I love going to the casino.  I drank way too much.

- I'm in love with my new necklace that I bought last week from Recultured Designs.  The clothing is inspired by Europe.   They also have an Etsy store where you can purchase the necklaces and some of their clothing.  I can't wait to wear it!  The picture isn't of great quality, but I can't take another one right now.  All her necklaces are $50.

-  I quit doing Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred.  I was over halfway done, but I got tired of doing the same workout everyday and I know it's also bad for your muscles to not give them a chance to rest.  I've been sort of interested in Cassey Ho and her blog, Blogilates.  She makes workout calendars each month, and it's free.  There are a different set of workout videos each day to complete.  I also downloaded her app, and if you pay 99 cents/month, there's an extra video available and you can also check off what you have done.  There are also other things like recipes, and a forum, etc.  I also have my gym membership too for something extra.

-  I should be getting my new Nike shoes today!  Hopefully UPS will be delivering them soon.

- It's technically Spring now, but it sure doesn't seem like it.  Michigan doesn't really have a Spring anyway, it seems to be skipped over.  I have lived in other states so I know what I'm talking about!

- I have a FabFitFun box and Golden Tote coming soon.  I already know what's coming in my FabFitFun box, and I'm hoping the surprises in my Golden Tote will be good.  I ordered the $149 one.   I'm into buying pastel-colored clothing at the moment, and I chose these two tops...

- I'm so excited to see Divergent on Monday.  I haven't been this impatient for a movie to come out since Harry Potter I think, LOL.  I've read the book and it is so good, and plan on starting the second one after I see this movie.  My sister saw an early screening of this and said it was amazing!

- I've been doing Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred and just started on Level 2.  Wow, is it tough!  I'm not trying to lose a bunch of weight because I don't need to, just trying to tone up a bit.

- I have a hair appointment set for Monday as well.  In the past 10 months or so I've been blonde, red, darker red, and now, a dark brown.  I'm getting a bit tired of dying my hair and would like to grow it out to my natural hair color, which is light to medium brown.  I haven't seen it in about 5 years, and my husband hasn't seen it at all...ever, haha!  I want highlights to lighten it up a bit, but I don't think that's possible because of how much bleach is underneath the brown and red.  My hair stylist told me before that it will probably break off, but that's hard for me to believe because it's pretty strong and healthy.  I'm not interested in stripping it because that is very damaging.  I'll see what I can do when I go on Monday.  I will probably cut a bit off as well.  I love having long hair, but every once in a while I like to cut a lot off.  My hair does grow fast, so before I know it, it will be long again.  This will also allow me to get back to my natural hair color faster.  

- I'm probably going to skip Julep this month.  I signed up for a fairly new box called, Scratch Monthly Mani Box that sends you nail wraps and extra items, so I will probably just go with that this month.  You can skip it, like Julep.  I plan to post about the March box soon.

- My custom Nike's have shipped!  I'm so excited to get these, and I wonder how long it will take considering they're coming from China.  I hope they look even better in person!  I'm a little nervous about that.

- I will actually get a chance to get to the gym today.  Something always seems to come up where I can't make it. 

- My Popsugar Must Have box still isn't here.  I did resubscribe after seeing the scarf spoiler, but it has never taken this long to ship.

- My daughter and I had our first Toddler/Parent Academy class on Tuesday.  Of course she didn't want to participate in most of the activities.  Two-year olds do what they want to do. 

- I'm really hoping that we will be going to Macedonia in May for a few weeks.  My husband is from there and we have wedding to attend.  That also means it gives us a chance to go on vacation, just him and I.  His parents won't mind babysitting since they don't see her often.  We were thinking of going to Malta or Cypress.  Something warm and tropical is what I would like.  I really hope this works out. 

- I'm so over this snow.  It's technically almost spring.  At least it's sunny outside today.  This snow needs to melt asap!

-  Lastly, I'm looking forward to my sister coming the last weekend this month.  She's bringing her boyfriend and we are meeting him for the first time.   I'm hoping my sister-in-law can babysit that Saturday because we want to go out to dinner and then to MGM.  I love the casino.

Thursday Thoughts

I'm linking up with Jen over at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for Thursday Thoughts.  This is my first time doing this and I thought it would be fun!  It's a little late in the day to post this, but better late than never!

- I finally got what I ordered from JnMstudio on Etsy today in the mail.  It took a month, literally, but I'm happy with my items!  I purchased post-it-notes to use in my Erin Condren planner.

- I'm over this cold weather; I'm so jealous my friend is going to Florida on vacation next week.

- I signed up for a parent/toddler class that starts next Tuesday and I'm pretty nervous about that.  I know this will be good for my daughter to meet other kids her age and for me to meet other parents.  Most of my friends are still single without children.

- I'm super excited for the new Nike's that I ordered yesterday!  I ordered a customized pair where you get to choose the colors you want.  Only some styles allow you to do this; they don't cost any more than the usual price.  It can take up to 4 weeks to be made, but I'm hoping to get them sooner.  I played around with the customization options forever and this what I finally came up...hours later...
